Space & Aerospace Power

The militarisation of space has shifted from hypothetical to operational reality. In our Space & Aerospace Power programme, we focus on orbital resilience, space-based deterrence strategies, and aerospace doctrine for near-peer competition.

We analyse vulnerabilities in satellite constellations, develop redundancy strategies for space communications and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance), and explore contested space governance frameworks. On the aerospace side, we study the integration of hypersonic systems, stealth innovation, and unmanned aerial platforms into broader force projection strategies. Our work informs both national space policy and joint operational doctrine.
